Organizational Statement
The Mid-Atlantic Educators of Color Network (MAECN) is a professional association of educators and school professionals committed to community, connection, and advocacy across the mid-Atlantic region. MAECN is not a nonprofit organization, a limited liability company, or a formally incorporated entity. We are a voluntary professional network, independently organized and governed by our members.
The views, positions, and perspectives expressed by MAECN members — including through conference presentations, publications, network communications, and public statements — are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views or official positions of the schools, institutions, or organizations that employ them.
